A royal farman
A farman was a royal decree, written on a scroll and sealed with lac. This invitation arrives as one: the family's name on it, your initials pressed into the seal.
Then guests sail across Lake Pichola in Mewar-style paintings — ghat to ghat, a ceremony at each stop — to a night of floating diyas.
It suits a Rajasthani or Marwari wedding, and plays its own music.
How Royal Farman opens
A royal decree is unsealed, and the guests sail across Lake Pichola from ghat to ghat.
- 01
Break the seal
A rolled farman and a red lac seal with your initials. One tap: the seal cracks, and the farman unrolls with the family's name and yours.
- 02
Lake Pichola at dawn
A Mewar-style painting of the lake settles in as guests scroll, and a herald writes your families' words line by line.
- 03
Wipe the misty window
The date waits behind a palace window fogged with dew; guests wipe the glass, the date appears over the lake, and the countdown runs beside it.
- 04
A letter, and your photos in the lake
A pigeon flies across and your story slides out of a silk lifafa; then your photos stand at the water's edge in Mewar frames, their reflections rippling until the water stills.
- 05
Across the lake, ghat to ghat
Before each ceremony a boat sails across the water and the ceremony's painted lakeside place rises from it, with its time, place and what to wear.
- 06
Night on the lake
Fireworks over the City Palace, a diya floated with a tap, and every wish handed to the pigeon as a letter.

Questions families ask
Can we add the Pithi, Mayra or Nikasi?
Yes. Rename any ceremony the way your family says it — Pithi, Mayra, Nikasi — or add one of your own, each a stop on the lake.
Does it hold our photos?
Yes — up to eight, after the pigeon's letter. Each stands at the water's edge in a Mewar frame, its reflection settling in the lake as guests scroll, and opens large with a tap.
Can we add travel details?
Yes. Write "Boats leave Rameshwar Ghat from 5:00 pm" as the wedding's note, and the stay, parking and family to call in Good to know.
Does it have music?
Yes. It plays its own soft instrumental once the seal is broken, and guests can turn it off.
What does it cost?
Making it is free and so is every change. ₹1,999 once when the farman goes out to your families.
